The Gospel of John | Week 18
In Week 18 of our journey through the Gospel of John, we explore John 13–17, a powerful conversation that took place on the night before Jesus went to the cross.
In these final moments with His disciples, Jesus focused on what matters most—relationships. In a world full of uncertainty, confusion, and isolation, Jesus shows us that we were never meant to follow Him alone. We need a real relationship with Him, and we need one another.
Through this conversation, we discover five powerful “one another” principles that shape the kind of community Jesus calls us to build:
• Care for one another (John 13)
• Encourage one another (John 14)
• Partner with one another (John 15)
• Protect one another (John 16)
• Pray for one another (John 17)
When we live this way—connected to Jesus and committed to each other—we find peace in the middle of an uncertain world.
No matter what you’re facing today, Jesus reminds us of this truth:
“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
We need Jesus, and we need one another.
