He Is | Our Friend

This week we explored the beautiful truth that God is not only our Creator and Savior, but also our Friend. Friendship with God isn’t built on having the perfect perspective—it follows a person: Jesus. True friendship with Him draws us closer to Christ and deeper into community, never pushing us away from others. In a world full of surface-level connections, intimacy with Jesus is the antidote to superficiality. Like the best kind of friend, He comes around often, always lets us in, and never lets us down. When we know God as Friend, we experience a closeness that changes how we see Him, ourselves, and the people around us.
